Puppy wont walk on a leash, what can I do/?

My 13 week old mastiff pup wont walk on a leash. She walks behind me and if I pulled her I'd be dragging her which I am not going to do. I did training cles with another dog I had and recall the trainer told me to use a head collar for walking problems, I tried that but then she just sits down and bats at her head. She only does half way well when I have my other dog along, but that is not always possible. It seems she is very fearfull, not of people but of cars, a ball bouncing, loud noises,ect. Well I dont want to use a choker because I dont want to hurt her neck, how can I get her to walk with me without pulling her?

i went to doctors 7 months ago because i was suffering with anxiety he said i was depressed and put me on 20mg of citalopram which went up to 40mg of citalopram this didnt work so he put me on 20mg of prazac and sent me to a psychiatrist who said i have borderline perosnality disorder and told my doctor to put me on a different medication olanzapine and said i will need my blood checked and ecgs to check on my heart after all this im starting to feel like some sort of lab rat i only went there for anxiety and now they are making me go threw all this i dont want them to start poking needles in me and messing around with my organs (as he said it could mess with my heart) now i dont no what to do and its really starting to stress me out but im also worryed that if i dont go along with it then they wont help me at all. and also im wondering if i refuse the blood test will they not help me (as im petrified of needles) any help would be much appreciated

ok I was at my friend's house w/ a few other guys and one of my friends went back to his house so he could try and get some alcohol. He came back with a whole carton of cranberry juice (one of the big jugs). I haven't gotten drunk before, but i wasn't sure if it was spiked so I drank the whole thing. They told me it was, and sooner or later I started acting a little funny because I thought I was getting drunk. They were messing with me and saying i was yelling when I was really fine and just whispering and they told me to walk in a straight line and I did it fine. Then we went inside and I threw up in the toilet from chugging the cranberry juice too fast, but obviously i thought I was drunk. I was honestly freaked out over the course of the night when this was happening because I was almost like mentally forcing myself to act differently because I though I had consumed alcohol. My friends said all this stuff that they said I was doing, even though I wasn't, and I had never gotten drunk b4 so I wasn't sure if they were making it up or not. Now at school some kids are kind of making fun of me about it, and I feel like I got tooled on, but they still will actually drink w/ me in the summer, and now other kids want to actually drink w/ me too from my baseball team. I'm just not sure how to take this because that night I was kind of distressed a little because I actually thought I was drunk.

I was getting married to a character from a TV show. It was our wedding day and I was in my bedroom, our ceremony was at 10 A.M. and it was like 6. My mom was making me do everything (hair, makeup, manicure, etc.) myself so I was trying to do that. I opened my closet to get a nail file and was looking at my bags and hats, wondering if getting married was the right thing to do, and the wedding guests started showing up at our house. My mom had made the list, and it was basically a bunch of old people I'd never even met before. She was also cooking the meal for our reception, only it was a bunch of like appetizers and I was trying to file my nails while she's going "Won't you make just ONE thing with cream cheese?" and I'm yelling "NO!" and then yelling at my dad "WHERE'S THE SUPER GLUE, I NEED TO FIX MY SHOES!" And he goes and gets me a tube of super glue and I go back to my room and glue the insoles back into my heels (I actually have those heels, I wore them to prom, and the insole really is coming up). But somehow I got shoes and the fingers on gloves mixed up and couldn't find ten shoes that matched so I was freaking out, then the base of my desk lamp turned into the shoe I needed so I was trying to separate it from the rest of the lamp but I had to try on my wedding dress so I stopped. I opened my closet and got three dresses out. I held up a red dress that looked really good, but I wouldn't wear it because of that old poem about what colour you wear at your wedding that goes "married in red, you'll wish you were dead" so I tossed that aside and came to the wedding dress my mom had picked and put it on. It was the ugliest thing ever. It came to my knees, was ugly grey-white, and looked like a pillowcase. So I ditched that too and put on my prom dress (the prom dress I really have). And then I was bored because the ceremony was still a few hours away so I made cupcakes.

My dog ate a section of a shark's jaw!?

Okay, so guys.. this one is about my vision of creating something that will be revolutionary in hopes of breaking "tradition" and fixing it's flaws. I know i'm going to take some flak from question.. but it's necessary to shove off the criticism to get where you want. What I want to do is create a whole new society that doesn't necessarily go against fraternities and sororities but compensates for the gaping flaws in the "greek society". I want to create a new independent and alternative way students can become more involved in their school without selling out and caving in for a fraternity or sorority. The way the current system seems to me is that frats and sororities dominate the schools social life mainly by naive self-right, exclusion, and putting on a facade. Don't get me wrong, Fraternity's and Sororities aren't terrible, in fact they contribute widely to society and help students succeed in shcool. Let's face it though, they convince students that they're better than those who aren't one and create their own elitist bubble that plenty of students choose not to be apart of. Frats and Soros push their own dogmatic ideology onto students, convince them to do things they might not want to do, and all while making it mandatory to pay thousand of dollars in dues in order to join and mantain memberships. Aside from paying for friendship, they're responsible for some students becoming so into themselves that some guys just turn into complete tools and some girls just turn into annoying sluts; all of which walk around snobbish and like they're God's Gift to the world. My opinion, they're filled with the aholes and bitches who still want to act like they're in high school and in a sense won't grow out of their social mindsets. Once again, don't get me wrong beacuse they're are plenty of great people who are wonderful and nice in these greek houses. The overall outside opinion is mixed but as a whole the frats overall just blow . I want to create a new social club, society, group, or whatever it's going to be known as. One that won't have to label students as in a frat, one that won't exclude students, or instill a set of beliefs that convinces members that they're better than non-members. This would, be open to all students, free, won't have ridiculous rituals, acceptance requirements or codes, and will create a group of friends in a chill easy going environment with similar views. I think this can be big and be better; there are more students not in fraternities and sororities and it's crazy to give them so much attention when in reality they're not that great (my opinion, sod off). The ob/gyn thinks I have endometriosis.?

They have done cat scans, 1 ultra sound, 1 3D ultra sound, they said my ovaries are not mobile from the 3D one, the dr. suggested giving me a hysterectomy, well I am 39, wanted to have another child this next month or so...so he is going to do a D&C and a hysteroscopy, now will that tell for sure I have endometriosis? He never said anything about a laparoscopy...I just read that... I am a Sopre and due to a sudden emergency crisis, I will not be present during final exams. My teachers said that if we get commended on the TAKS Tests, then we don't need to take final exams. I met this guy in Central Park this past week. He is very handsome,tall, outgoing, nice accent, and fun to be around. He had me at hello and both of us had a lot of chemistry. We met at a group picnic and I was talking to my friends. What are your opinions on driving manners?

As a soon to be MD, I'm very careful about driving after all the trauma cases I have seen (i.e. signaling in good time, checking all my spots, driving in reasonable speed). But here and there, you see a reckless driver that just irks me! A couple times I have tried to switch to a lane, made sure there was good space after checking the blind spot after signaling, and as I transferred, there is a car speeding by and nearly missing you! Once the car had to use an emergency lane, another time I had to slam on my brakes and a semi was behind me (which takes a longer time to slow due to momentum). There was nearly a three car accident! How can anyone rationalize the possibility of a life threatening car accident just to save 2 seconds? Most annoying thing and from a physician's standpoint, it does make it harder to sympathize with some trauma patients, albeit there are often people who are generally pretty innocent and unfortunate. Discussion?

I need help dealing with a situation that involves "baby mama drama" things that go along with being a stepmom?

I was with my boyfriend for just about five years and we broke up in December 2009. We argued all the time and really never had the chance to grow up, so we peacefully went our separate ways and had no intentions of getting back together. We both dated over the next several months and ended up getting back together in May 2010. The girl he dated while we were broken up called two weeks after we got back together and told him she was pregnant. She slept with at least one other guy during her conception time frame that we knew of, so we talked it over and decided to see how things worked out. I feel like I have to point out that this girl is crazy and this is not a biased opinion. She slashed my tires, the tires on two of his vehicles, smashed all the windows out of one of those vehicles, and slashed his motorcycle tire and carved "payback" on it. This isn't even half of it. For the next nine months, we both got haring phone calls. She faked a miscarriage, "just to see how we'd react" and continued this insane behavior. After the baby was born, we had a paternity test and the chiild is my boyfriends. While it's hard to explain, I have no problem with the child. We see him every weekend and I adore him. Even though he's not my flesh and blood, it feels like he is. The problem is that it's so hard to wrap my head around all of it. I'm not ready to have a child, so it's not jealousy of not having one of my own....it's hard to pin down. My boyfriend & I have a great relationship and I know that if we've made it through this past year, we can make it through anything. It's just once in a while, the whole situation makes me so sad. I can't pinpoint why, but it's hard to cope with. I know one aspect is just being on guard for more "baby mama drama". She is now with one of the other possible baby daddys and he has helped to mellow her out where she's alright with me being around their son. I haven't overstepped any boundaries, I make sure that I clarify that the child is her's and my boyfriends and don't try to stake any claim. I just have seen her craziness before and I despise drama. Now I'm sure to those of you who are reading this may think I'm rambling or your first thought is to leave if it's hard, but that's not the kind of advice I'm looking for. I want some positive feedback. I love my boyfriend very much and he loves me just the same. We're making plans for the future (buying a house, getting married, having children of our own) and I'm excited for all those possibilites and that's why I want to figure out how to cope when I'm feeling down. I know the world isn't perfect, but I sit back and think that his first child should've been with me. All of his children should've been with me. How long will an offset delay my tax refund?

Orginally my tex refund was set to direct deposit sometime around 2/17, but now when I check the IRS website it is saying that it will be delayed. I called the IRS and was told that there is an offset due to my husband owing from a previous year (married filing jointly) and that it is scheduled to come out on 2/23. 22 Year old, my life should be great, but I am terribly miserable?

I am 22 years old, dual major in college (Economics and Marketing), I have been accepted into numerous law school next year, some with full scholarships. I have dated many girls and have a great girlfriend now who goes to a college near me. However, I feel miserable and I have no friends. I rushed for fraternities at the beginning of my freshman year and got a ton of bids and became president of my pledge cl, however, after a month my pledge cl and I were not meshing well and I left. I good at sports, dress well, have nice things etc. but I just do not seem to mesh well with anyone and I do not enjoy going out to crowded places like bars etc. I am very lonely and very miserable and I am not sure why? I suppose I should be happy, but I do not like the kids that I am around and I do not meet many kids who I enjoy spending time with. Am I depressed? Does anyone have any ideas? My family does pressure me a lot and I do feel like a failure most of the time.

I work out five days a week, keep my body in good shape, and keep my body hair nicely neat and trimmed. I kinda have to anyways because I do modeling for sensual art. I just got a new betta two days ago, and he constantly swims at the top of the tank?

I can't tell if what my fish has is Swim Bladder Disorder or not. Two days ago, I got my betta, and placed him in his aquarium. It is heated to the right temperature, and conditioned as well. And though he swims around, and is attentive enough if something causes him to be, he hardly EVER leaves the top of the tank. Still though, I've seen him also go to the bottom, and the middle, without much difficulty at all. He swims pretty parallel to the ground, without really any tipping, and he's able to hover in the center of the tank as if he's maintaining buoyancy. Not to mention his swimming isn't all that clumsy looking. On the same coin, though, he isn't eating, and his reaction to stimuli isn't all that great. (It's there, but not as alert as it seems it should be). He does flare when a reflection of himself is put alongside the bowl though. He also tends to float around more than actually swim and explore. Does this sound like SBD? Or is he maybe lethargic, or just likes the top of the silly tank?

D: okay, well my best friend was telling me how her cousin was coming over during the summer & staying there for a little. she told me about him & i got excited because he seemed really nice & fun. at that point, i just wanted to meet him because of what i just said, he seemed nice & fun. i didn't have any intentions on "falling for him" because he was 16 & i was only 13. then one day at school, my other friend told me that he was really cute, so of course, being a teenage girl, i wanted to meet him even more. when i finally did get to meet him, i was really shy because that's just how i am. i would smile at him, look down at the ground, twirl my hair a little. i though he was really cute & nice. later that week, i started talking to him on AIM & going to my friends house a lot more. when i was there, me him & my best friend would hang out. we would usually walk to the park or just walk around her neighborhood. i still kept talking to him on AIM. that's when i really really started to like him. he told me he liked me too. sadly, he told me that on AIM. i kept hanging out with them & kept falling & falling for him. i had no control over it at this point. i would spend nights staying up until two in the morning, just talking to him. i liked that he was obviously more mature then all of the other guys i know, & he was just easy to talk to. later in that summer, i didn't talk to him that much & i stopped going over her house when he was there. when i did talk to him again, it was about october or november. he told me he had fell in love with another girl. this had really hurt me & i cried a lot. at least a month later, i asked how he was & he told me he was horrible because they broke up. after that, we didn't talk for at least three weeks at a time. by this, i was miserable. i wouldn't hang out with my friends, my grades dropped. a lot of my friends tried help me get over him. well, at least only my online friends because at the time i was too embarred to tell my real life friends. EVERYONE i told was telling me i needed to get over him. i couldn't though. no matter what anyone told me, my feelings stayed the same. by then i realized, i was young but in love. i didn't want to be, trust me! i didn't want to feel this horrible, but when i heard his name or saw a picture, i got a strange feeling that made me dizzy & sick to my stomach. weird enough, i loved that feeling. recently he dated one of my other friends. he's been miserable because of HER. i write poems about it, even as corny as that is. i haven't talked to him in a while.

I've had this problem for a while, but finally decided to do something about it. When I turn on the cold air in my car, it works for maybe 25-45 minutes staying cold, but after a while, it would start blowing warm air. This happened last weekend and I figured maybe it was because my dashboard was hot. But I tried it today and it was a little chilly out, but my air was icy cold. I don't know what's going on. Hi, I bought the game cause i heard that it is one of the best FF games ever with a high score on game sites, and the ending is really sad. I am a fan of Final Fantasy games and the ones I've played are 4, 7, 9, and 11, About to get 13 soon. Well when i first started the game, some parts where awesome but nothing that really set it apart from the other games I've played. I'm currently at the part where Auron tells Tidas that his father is sin. That's pretty far into the game i think. The story is cool but nothing special right now for me at least. I had a blast playing FF9. I never wanted to put the controller down. But 10 i got frustrated with the sphere grid at times..yeah i did..the grid thing in 11 was easier for me haha. And the first blitzball match wasn't any help either. I kinda feel embarred to say that i didn't really enjoy FF10 from what I've played or tell people I've never beaten it. It just bores me sometimes. Does anyone feel me or am i just a sucky on 10? also FF13 looks interesting and might hold up my attention, its linear but i don't mind. thanks!

Watch for insects, like white flies, aphids, mold, and take care of it immediately. Use can use soapy water on the plants, 2 tbs. per gal, spray it on. It won't hurt you or animals and you can't trellis them, the fruit will be to heavy.

Why does my laptop speakers keep turning off and on?

I have a HP Windows 7 had it for almost a year now. Well of late my speakers don't work like they are suppose too. The sound quality is the same and all that. They turn on and off. Most of the time they are off even though I am playing music with the volume full blast. It only works when I pull out the earphones or mute and then unmute. When it works again it only does so for about 5 seconds and then I can hear a crackle/ popping noise and then it turns off again. If I repeat either the two methods my speakers will work again but only for 5 seconds like I said. What the hell is wrong with it?

What should i do for my crippled puppy?

My dog had pups in Feb of this year. We found out that she had sat on him or something because he was a late walker. We had taken him to the vet and he gave him a steroid shot making his walking better. Now he walks frustrated and twirls trying to get to his destination. Recently his brain has been growing out of his skull ( so says my mother) we're convinced that another shot wont work (seeing as he's gotten worse) he can't stand and every time i lean him against the wall for water he seems to drink alot. Should we risk another shot that might not work or go ahead and put him down. We only open that last option because he wines when he cant get some where and gets tired very easily. HE can't get down from the carport ( or doesn't try to) to go to the bath room like his mother and sister. I have a light chance of hope when he comes bolting fomr the carport and trys to take a toy from his sister. He gets stepped or and on by his sisters and its hard for him to play or get the basic needs.

I don't know what the statistics are, but it appears that there are more foreign whites moving to Jamaica now than in the past. The problem is that it seems that many of them don't mind the financial and natural benefits of living in Jamaica or for that matter in Barbados, Antigua or other islands but they are also living in "enclosed" of "gated" communities, wherein they can segregate themselves from native Jamaicans. Once so many communities become "off limits" to the natives of any country, I smell trouble because it reminds me of the progression of apartheid in South Africa. I worry that Jamaica will change.
