Would you fire a guy who act that way?

had a guy like that, boss wouldn't let me fire him, told the boss the guy was his problem from now on. Refused to even talk to the guy. Told the boss I wanted him fired, if it was up to me I wouldn't be dealing with his bull right now. 2 weeks later the boss fired him.
