Why do I get the sense that men enjoy behavior that is emotionally abusive to women?

I think those are false perceptions spawned by the media and entertainment industry. It's sad because for so many people who get all their life skills information from the entertainment industry, it leaves them confused and acting weird in romantic situations. Men need to know that decent women are attracted to men who are honest, straightforward, down-to-earth, respectful, and sincere.
