LIBS AND CONS: Tea Party Crisis! Has anybody else noticed?

Both parties usually attempt to co-opt the large movements on the right and on the left. You could have also mentioned the labor movement (Democrats), the surge of the evangelical Christianity (Republicans), feminism (Democrats), gun rights movement (Republicans), etc.
